Robotics is a rapidly developing field, and part of the new curriculum, but it’s a subject that’s best learnt by doing. We create low-cost walking robots as educational tools and for hobbyists. A clever leg design and smart controller board keeps costs down while retaining functionality, and our robots are designed to be compatible with single board computers like the Raspberry Pi, for ultimate expandability. A “robot app-store” will let users share software programs as well as designs for parts they’ve made, which can be 3D printed. We aim to inspire, engage, and facilitate the next generation of engineers.
