Kenoteq designs and manufactures innovative construction products. Kenoteq’s first product, the K-Briq™, is made from recycled construction waste and will help the building industry reduce waste and build more sustainably, through circular economy thinking. The company vision has been borne from on-going imposition of stricter waste regulation, a shortage in building materials and a need to support new low-carbon and cost-effective housebuilding. A typical home built from K-Briqs effectively stores 30 tonnes of recycled waste material, avoiding landfill and removing the requirement for use of new, virgin materials. Kenoteq is led by Dr Sam Chapman (CEO) and Prof Gabriela Medero (CTO) and is currently based at Heriot-Watt University. Kenoteq is launching in July 2019 and is now looking for investment and partners in the industry to deliver on letters of intent for six million bricks. Help Kenoteq build a future for us all!
